(obligatory retrospective New Years post)

• graduated from high school
• got to go on a cruise with my best friend
• discovered Merlin (and Colin Morgan)
• became friends with many amazing tumblr/Merlin people
• got followed by James Hance, Natalie Holmes, and Lydia Butz, some of my favorite artists and human beings
• started college (and passed my first semester with flying colors)
• I’ve gotten so much support and positive feedback (more than I expected, at least)
• restored my faith in humanity by seeing all the wonderful people come together to try and decrease World Suck, little by little.
• I have become a lot more open-minded of other peoples’ feelings, preferences, and beliefs
• Started making money by selling TFiOS necklaces and learned how to use the post office and postage stuff (also set up a Society6 but no one uses it :B)
• My mom read TFiOS and liked it
• Reached 245 followers on tumblr, 34 on dA, 45 on twitter, 84 on instagram
• Noticeably improved my artistic/painting skills (though there’s still room for improvement)

Thank you all for the support over the past year. You have no idea how much I appreciate it.

when I can’t stop feeling excited and anxious and it takes me a while to stop grinning.

I can’t imagine what would happen if we met in real life.

In case you weren’t aware, I went to the Bahamas/on a cruise for five days.

I took a few hundred pictures (literally-some of them so amazingly awesome they’ll get their own photoset later.) Most of them are of sunsets, my friend, and lightning/water spout.

I ate too much amazing food.

I got too little sleep and not quite enough sun.

I saw a sting ray lying in the sand at the bottom of a reef, and a barracuda who didn’t seem very happy at the fact that there were awkward humans splashing around above it (and it was right below me. No need to say that I kind of freaked.) There were also hundreds of colorful fish. (I was snorkeling, btw)

I know what I’m wearing tomorrow.

because not only will I get my Pizza John shirt (eventually) but I also remembered that I could purchase Natalie Holmes’ songs off her bandcamp FINALLY. I wish I could find a place to get her covers and other newer originals, but I’ll take anything done by her BECAUSE SHE’S ADORABLE AND BRILLIANT *flail*
